I am a South Korean university student who is interested in learning British English. Though I am now used to speaking with British English (considering the fact that my first foreign language is American English!), I still wonder which UK accent would be the best for me. I have heard that (traditional) RP is declining and Estuary English is on the rise. I have also known that many people on the BBC programmes even speak with regional accents. My preference is an accent that has some traits of traditional RP but other strong intonation (which is quite distinguishable to too-plain accents) -- like BBC presenter Tim Wilcox? I don't like rolling /r/ sounds existing in Irish and USA accent.
