Which US states offer free PreK?

I know Georgia does. What other states do?

Call your school district office and ask. Many states have pre-K in their school systems

I live in illinios and they offer free pre-k our school district. Our classes are for 3,4yrs  and some five if they arent old enough for kindergarden before school starts. It's great for the kids the elementry school here close to us offers it all day 8-230 4 days a week! Not many schools do pre-k all day!

Florida, has a volunteer preschool program (VPK), and depending on the elementary school some have preschool programs.

Most school systems do. In 2010, ALL school systems are to offer pre-k services to ALL 4 year olds. I work and have worked for quite some time for the Head Start Program. I would contact your local Head Start program or your local BOE, as they will know concerning your area.
