Which Uni would you pick (based on overall)- <span title="Leeds/Liverpool/Birmingham/Leicester/Royal">Leeds/Liverpool/Birmingha...</span> Holloway?

Question

Im about to study Geology and im having trouble finding the best uni (or city) that would most probably suit an international asian student. Ive never been to UK so i have no way of getting first hand info.

for geology Royal Holloway is by far the best uni, but not very cheap for living ... I&#039;m not sure which would be the cheapest but the other four ought to be cheaper than Holloway because Holloway is so near to London

Liverpool is a lovely place, very friendly, great sense of humour ... Birmingham has a very large Asian population that might make you feel at home (or not as the case may be)

as an international student, any of the uni&#039;s on your list should not be a problem, all of them will have many other foreign students, and the UK is such a mixed community anyway ... it&#039;s more down to which is rated good for your subject, and the cost of living

Leeds has a really good music scene really good.  Lots of live bands and great night life however, outside of the university campus its not very safe and there are a lot of robberies.  Liverpool i heard was really good once again has a good night life, the university looks fantastic, however they have strange accents.  You should really look into sheffield hallam as a option.  Its got a amazing culture and lots of different cultures.  Its really friendly, cheap accommadation, cheap food, cheap everything!!!  Also everyone is really friendly and helpful
