Which Vegas casinos currently have the best promotions for joining their players club?

I'll be going in a week, for 5 days. I want to join the best players clubs that offer the most for signing up such as free match play, free slot play, gifts, ect.

The strip casinos do not offer a lot anymore. You have to go off the strip to the locals casinos such as any Stations casinos. The Tuscany has good offers and they are located on East Flamingo about a block and a half from the strip. Locals give the repeat business that they want.

There are basically three of the 1950 era casino hotels left on the strip. The Tropicana Casino (1,871 rooms, opened 1957) near the airport, The Riviera (2,100 rooms, opened 1955) and The Sahara (1,720 rooms, opened 1952)  on the north strip. You will find these three casinos are much more generous with comps than the newer megaresorts. Sahara will sell the dinner buffet for only $7 when you join their club. Their is bus service called "The Deuce" which is unlimited rides for $5 for a 24 hour period which provides low cost transport to the rest of the strip.

Two of the classic casinos, The New Frontier and The Stardust, were imploded in recent years. Construction of a mega-resort on the Stardust site has begun (they got most of the buildings to the 8th floor) and has been put on hold for at least a year. The New Frontier site stands empty awaiting a mega-billion dollar resort based on "The Plaza Hotel" in Central Park. There is no sign if and when construction will begin on this project.

Although the older strip casinos may offer more comps, you can still find the most advantageous gambling odds in the old downtown. If you are a mid-levl gambler ($500-$1000 per trip) you may save a lot more downtown just by playing the lower house edge. Also hotel rooms are some of the cheapest in the nation.

we are going the last 1/2 of september, for 2 weeks. try looking online and calling around different casinos to find out. their promotions change all the time, so it would be hard to keep up with. good luck! and also, i dont know if you have ever heard of Samstown? Its off the strip, but its down Boulder Highway, going south on Sahara Avenue, which is in between Stratosphere and Sahara Casino (if the sahara casino is still there). and if you have any kids that are going with you, then go to the Boulder Station casino, with is on the way to Samstown because they have a kid-care thing there. Samstown also has like a "forrest" on the inside, thats really cool and they put on a show with the fake animals, about every hour or so. Its fun for the whole family! also, the mirage has HORRIBLE food, the best food, in my opinion is the Luxor. Ok, enough typing! im sure im giving unwanted advice. well, have fun without me! lol enjoy ur trip!

the last time we went out to vegas, at samstown, you had to have at least 100 points in order to get something there. it was a little water fountain with some rocks...it was cute to bring home =)
