Question:

Which Xbox 360 should I get?

Okay the thing is I have a 20gig xbox 360 this is my third box. However, they have all been under warranty this one is not...So it's starting to red ring a bit. What should I do...just wait till it dies and try to fix it myself...send it to Microsoft for a hundred bucks...or save money up for a new elite xbox 360? Also do the elite still get the red ring of death as easy??? Any ideas or helpful thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

NEW Xbox comes out this month.

60gb for $350,and it looks like the color of it will be silver.

i don't think the elites are any different in the hardware other than the toys that come with it i believe the elite comes with a 120gb hard drive and a few extra toys but that's really expensive. if its just $100 to get it fixed and an extra $100 (give or take $20) for a 120gb hard drive as apposed to the $400 for the elite

just sell it to gamestop for money,(but don't say anything's wrong)

well, what ever you do do not go straight into the 100 bucks to microsoft, try to research it or see what the problem is. If it is not getting anywhere then i would get it fixed.

The elite looks nicer... but they aren't as reliable as the newer premiums coming out. Their hardware and motherboard are the same, however you will have a much harder time finding more recent elites. Don't buy anything older than "08-03-15" (YMD) If you can find an elite more recent than that you're golden.

Sell that Xbox as soon as possible before it completely dies on you, or save like $300 and take that Xbox to a gamestore and trade it in while it still works to get the ELITE!!!! I've had the ELITE for over 8mos. and put well over 2000+ hrs of gaming on it with out a single problem!!!! GO ELITE OR GO HOME!!!!
