Which a levels do universities prefer?

I am interested in an english subject either english language or combined but I'm not keen on doing maths for an a level course.

I am currently in my last year of compulsory education and I am predicted to get all grades A-C and I'm doing quite well at the moment so I will be able to cope with difficult subjects.

I am allowed to do 4 a level courses at the 6th from college I'm going to but I could drop one at the end of year 12 If I found it too difficult.

I would like to do either biology or psychology and just for sort of enjoyment I would like to do film studies or a language.

At present I am starting a German A level course that will gain me extra points for when I do the real thing.

Please could I have some advice on what universities like and dislike and If the subjects I want to take are Ideal.

  1. sciences and maths are well respected as theyv been said to be more difficult than other subjects and so count for more

    so biology would be good

it sounds like doing german would be a good choice that may be more impressive to uni

really you need to check out www.ucas.ac.uk/ and see what course youd like to do at uni and checkl whats required

if not choose things yoou like/are good at/interested in

im doing chemistry, biology, psychology and art if tht somehow helps
