Which acoustic guitar...

is good fer like mellow songs? not much of a rock player. xD and which strings should i get?

  1. Acoustic guitars don't need nylon strings, classical guitars do.  Acoustic guitars are steel stringed.  Anyway, it all depends on your price range.  If you're willing to pay top dollar, then go for either a Gibson or a Taylor.  They can truly fill a room with rich, beautiful music, assuming of course that you can play it.

    If you don't want to shell out upwards of 1500 dollars, and I can't blame you, then go to a guitar shop and look around for a nice reasonably priced good sounding guitar.  If you can't play, ask someone who works there to play something for you so that you can compare sounds.  

    For strings, use D'Addario or Elixir.  They are really good and don't break very often.  


  2. Take a look at the Blueridge line of guitars if money is an important consideration.  If money is no object, go to the web and search on luthiers, handmade guitars.  I recommend Traugott and Ken Franklin and Tony Yamamoto guitars as top choices.
