Where can I complain about the inept customer service and difficulty in cancelling my DSL line with Verizon? I spent over an hour calling their 800 number which is only answered on weekdays, East Coast hours, and was disconnected once after holding 15 minutes, and hung up on by a supervisor after holding over 30 minutes. I was told they do not accept cancellations by mail or email, only by phone [and therefore not on weekends], and it is nearly impossible to get through to a live person. Do they set out on purpose to enrage their customers?

  1. I believe it is the FTC.  Federal Trade Commission.

    goto https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/FT...

File a complaint through there.  They oversee all businesses.

    Good luck

  2. I'm guessing this is what you are doing, right?
