  1. b777

  2. i like the 777

  3. It usually depends on the choice of the airline it self like an A319-100 of Cebu Pacific has a P98 fare while on Philippine Airlines it is about P2000 on both on a flight from Manila to Legaspi.

  4. It depends on range etc but i would say 777-300er.

  5. When you say that the capacities of both planes are same then both have the same cost of flying depending on the load factor. No difference.

In that case (that the capacities of both aircrafts are same), by comparison, they both are 'a Ferrari and a Lamborghini'  and not 'a Ferrari and a Citroen'.

  6. If the seating were arranged similarly (same density) and at the same load factor (percent full), the A380 would be better.

However, the A380 is being marketed as a luxury airplane (individual CABINS for first class, for example) so it has lower density; and when replacing smaller airplanes on the route it will be harder to fill it; so in practice it is probably more expensive to operate at least the way it is being used right now.

  7. This is a question that has many complications. However, by specifying 301 passengers, it is the B-777-300ER. This is due to the larger capacity of the A380 (560), and the cost of the aircraft.

These are expensive aircraft to buy and operate. The larger the aircraft, the more costly it is. The larger it is, the more costly to operate, generally speaking. Just landing fees are expensive. The aircraft are charged by maximum allowable landing weight by airports, regardless of what they actually weigh, and since the A380 weighs more, well, it costs more to land.

What airlines MUST do is to match the right aircraft to the route and the normal passenger load.

For your original question, it will take some time to tell, as the figures for A380 performance are not in yet.

  8. It's not what aircraft you fly on, but the airline you fly with and the routes. you cant say the a380 is cheaper is, or more expensive. it goes by airline, not aircraft.
