  1. Most airlines that will accept a child that young will only allow them to travel on non-stop or direct flights.  What cities are they flying between?


  2. All airlines. You just need to contact them in advance to ensure help is available.

Most US airlines charge an "Unaccompanied Minor" fee.  To find out how much it would be you should contact the airline they are flying.  The age limit for unaccompanied minors varies by each airline as well.  I don't know what the other airlines charge or their specific age limits are, but I do know that on Southwest Airlines, there is no extra fee for them to travel as an unaccompanied minor.  And the age limit is from 5-11 on Southwest.  If they are flying another airline, I would check with the airline's website to be sure.
