I dont think Southwest flies from Sri Lanka to New Zealand... :)

I would try www.mobissimo.com to complete a meta search for your trip.  They should cover this international to international trip.  You may need to connect in Singapore or Bombay...

Check Southwest. I'm taking it to Flordia this Saturday and my ticket was about $180 I htink. My mother did all hte planning. i;ve been flying a lot lately and there has been a lot of numbers but, I am in the finachle middle class so I can't spend a lot of money and Southwest is great. All my flights which have have been six, I have paid at least, $1,200. That's pretty good. I highly recommend that you make plans for your flight eariler, maybe a couple of months because then your ticket will cost less. The longer you wait until the due date, the more your ticket will cost. I knew I was going to Florida in June since Janurary and got my ticket in early May. (from what my mother told me).
