Which airline would you choose?why?

Im just wondering wahat is a better airline of your coice and wich do you prefer,boeing or airbus?

Both aircraft manufacturers make good planes. As an American, I naturally prefer the American made Boeing, but both of them will safely get you from point A to B.

I have had the best service with American in my travels.

I feel much safer in a Boeing than a Scarebus.

Boeing or airbus?  This question comes up a lot and yes there is a difference in the two from and engineering standpoint and passenger comfort.

First, engineering Boeing is designed to meet all of Title 49 Part 25 for commercial aircraft.  This Part describes the requirements the aircraft must meet to be certificated in the United States.  All of Boeing aircraft meet this rule.  Second Boeing has a fundamental belief all of there aircraft must exceed mistakes made in the past.  This is why most Boeing aircraft still have a cable flight control back up system.  Boeing engines are further out on the wings unlike Airbus, which makes the aircraft more stable and quieter, and safer incase of engine failure.

Airbus on the other hand does meet Part 25 now, but not on the first aircraft which entered air service in the states.  One such rule in Part 25 was about rudder deflection and the rudder stops.  Airbus did not have the stops and installed a written placard telling pilot not to push the rudder full over.  Boeing stops prevented this from happening.  As I understand now Airbus has adopted the stops.  Airbus does not use a back up cable system for flight controls.

As far as passenger comfort that will all depend on the airline.  Aircraft are sold “Green” with no interior and the airline chooses what they want installed.  The airlines tell the manufacture where and how many toilets they want install and what kind of seats and how many to install.  More seats means more weight which cost more money to operate, which could mean more money if all of the seats are full.

The biggest factor to me is fly-by-wire flight controls.  Airbus and Boeing use fly-by-wire however Boeing aircraft still have a yoke and Airbus use a joystick.  Yoke means there still cables connected and a joystick is hooked to a computer.  I prefer to have a pilot in control of a yoke just in case of an electrical glitch with the joystick

you should not work out who is the better airline by what planes the fly both Boeing and airbus make very good and safe aircraft what i would be looking at if your worried about is the safty and mentains record of the airlines as some airlines fly aircraft that are 20+ years old and have a bad mentain record

I personally prefer Airbus, and they are now the biggest aircraft maker in the world, and their aircraft are more efficient and more technologically advanced, though i find the 777 more comfortable than the A330.

well for me, ill choose Lufthansa and any Star Alliance Airlines, the people answered here is the airliner, anyway if i were to ask what aircraft or airliner, its Airbus for me love the aircraft since its quite stylistic for me

The last airline that treated me like a human was Jetblue.  Their airbus aircraft have extra leg room that you can actually notice.

As far as Boeing vs Airbus I could care less, they both make good aircraft but how they are maintained is the true test.
