By best, I mean less time on runway, less traffic, easiest. As far as how to get to the airport, most cost efficient way, but without taking forever! Is it a flat rate for a cab??

  1. ignore the NYC airports. Use White Plains, Tweed-New Haven (Ct) or Bradley Int'l (CT) youll not be on a runway but it might take longer to go to the actual airport.

FYI White Plains offers limited service, and Tweed obly offers flights to Phillidephia. Bradley offer many flight to place all over the country.

  2. LaGuardia is a pain.  But you should be looking at where you want to fly to to determine which airport to use.  Also, JFK is farther away than LGA and is more expensive to get to.  There are no flat fares to the airports, only back from JFK, but you can get the subway to JFK.

All NY airports have severe congestion issues.

  3. The best airport for you to use depends on your destination. International flights and transcontinental flights are out of JFK, shorter flights out of LGA. There may be $20 difference between getting to JFK and LGA and $500  out of the right airport.

Go to the airlines' websites and pick your flight.

    Dan
