This is Birkbeck college in London. London Heathrow or London Gatwick?

heathrow is much nearer and easier to get to. gatwick isnt really in london, its just that london is the closest city.

Travel wise there is not alot to choose between the two.  Heathrow is half an hour away by the Tube (London Underground), Gatwick 25 mins on the Gatwick Express.  Cheaper flights tend to go into Gatwick and it is a nicer airport!

Depends where you are flying too. Heathrow is the closest, but why go to Heathrow if the plane you need is flying from Gatwick. Gatwick will be cheaper if two flights are going to the same destination. The choice is yours.

Hi London Heathrow I would guess is about 15 mins if  you take the Heathrow Express to Paddington,Birbeck college is close to Paddington Station which has the fast link train from Heathrow Gatwick would maybe take 1 hour 15 mins. Link to Heathrow express for time tables

it doesn't really matter which airport as they both have fast travel connections into central London - I'd go with whichever airport you can get the best deal on flights
