Which airport is the closest to the amazon rain forest?

The amazon forest is quite big, and you can go there via Peru, or Brazil. I don't know about Peru, but in Brazil you would go to the city of Manaus, from there you can get a boat up the Amazon  river (an amazing trip btw)

The airport at Iquitos or Puerto Maldonado are on the edge of the jungle.  Very cool to take a trip to a lodge-you should do it if you can, you won't believe the stuff you'll see!

the airport in Iquitos in the department of Loreto lands you right in the middle of the amazon forest. You'd have to take it from the Lima "Jorge Chavez" airport.

there are many airports close to the amazon, one of them is that one of Puerto Maldonado and the other one is Iquitos
