We're a young couple (we'll both be 27 when we take this trip in Oct. '09) and are looking for an adults-only, all-inclusive resort in Jamaica with a good blend of relaxation, activities and nightlife at the resort for our anniversary. I've been researching Sandals, Couples, etc., in Negril and Ocho Rios and they all seem like good bets. As I narrow down our choices, I'm curious which resorts are going to have more travelers in our age group (late 20s). I've read some reviews on TripAdvisor that indicate a few of these resorts have predominantly older crowds.

  1. By far Couples resort in Oco Rios, also Breezes' hotel, sandals, or any all inclusive hotel in Jamaica is nice. Couples resort in Ocho Rios is absolutely romantic, and it is for any age. I have a few family members that have been there every year after there honeymoon. Jamaica is beautiful, and yes an all inclusive hotel would be the way to go. Just keep researching and ask a lot of questions. Also I suggest you just google any information and am sure you will will get some good places. Good luck

  2. i am leaving for jamaica tmr morning. we booked an all inclusive with sandals. its a good deal for couples and my friend who has been many times says its a younger crowd there. im predicting more partying. but i know there are a few other nice ones.

  3. I love Breezes Runaway Bay!  It has a great atmosphere for a little fun and romantic spots as well.  Also, I always see couples in your age group there.  It's my understanding that they also have all new rooms, because the entire property went through renovations last year.  A friend of mine stayed in a private plunge pool room and loved it.  Good luck!

  4. Beaches Negril
