Which american city is more like Barcelona?

i don't think any US city is remotly the same as barcelona. It doesn't begin to compare.

Barcelona is a big city, known for its beautiful buildings, sagrada familia and many other that were built and designed by a genius named Gaudi.

You can go to many of the nearby beaches (in the summer time) and you can go around Las Ramblas and just go from place to place, from bar to bar eating. Tapas and drinking wine.

It's nothing like US cities and maybe none of the world. It is a unique city and you can never compare it. To Nothing

I'm going to hazard a guess and say there is no American city which bears any similarity to Barcelona.

I reckon that would be San Francisco has they still have electric trams and bridges.

Boston is Barcelona's U.S. sister city. You take it from there.

I don't think anything is like Barcelona.  Not in the US.  Possibly Buenos Aires, but even then, I'm not sure how close.  

Barcelona is kind of an animal unto itself.

I've been to a lot of U.S. cities and I went to Barcelona this summer. I have never seen anything similar to Barcelona, it's kinda like it's own category. In a good way. I liked it there.
