Which amp for Kickers?

I'm getting 2 Kicker L7 15's (2008) models and I am looking at the Audiobahn A2300HCT amp right now, but i want to hear from other people what amp they think is best.

15" L7=1000RMS a piece so 2000RMS total

Audiobahn amp= 2400RMS

If you have high quality subs why mess up the setup with a s**+**y amp?

i dont know the impedance (ohms) of the subs, or how you have them wired, so i cant tell you exactly what amp to get but, whatever amp you get it needs to have about 2000watts RMS @ the correct impedance (ohms) and SHOULD be CEA-compliant

CEA-compliant means that the amp makes or exceeds its advertised wattage with minimum distortion and Audiobahn (hifonics too) is junk

this is what can happen if you dont get the correct amp (and with amps that are not CEA-compliant you dont know the REAL RMS wattage, its always lower than what they say it is)

If you send too much power to your sub, you risk damaging it. The cone of the speaker and the mechanical parts that make it move may break under the stress. Surprisingly, too little power can also damage your subwoofer — in fact, it's actually more common than damage caused by overpowering.

When the volume is turned up and the amp doesn't have enough power, the signal becomes distorted, or "clipped." This distorted signal can cause parts of the speaker to overheat, warp and melt. Not good!

You don't have to match speaker and amp wattages exactly. An amp with a higher output than the speaker's rating won't necessarily damage the speaker — just turn the amp down a bit if you hear distortion from the sub and don't run the speaker at extremely loud volumes for lengthy periods. Likewise, you'll be OK with a lower powered amp if you keep the volume down and don't feed a distorted signal to the sub.

I have 2 of those l7s and i put a hifonics 2008dxi pushing 2000rms which is the perfect match for the subs and it pounds so hard that my head unit shakes so much the cd skips.  Beleive me on this get the hifonics amp.  Go to onlinecarstereo.com and its only 339$.  For what you pay and get you wont get a better deal.
