  1. Water buffalo! Check this video out. Its called "The Battle at Kruger" and it is amazing footage:

I used to live in Indonesia and many of the rice farmers had water buffaloes. THEY ARE MEAN. And kinda smell like stinky socks.

I have heard of elephants trampling lions to death. Apparently, they fiercely protect their kind and have been known to take down lionesses for attacking their young.

  2. hmmmm.... I'd say the baby elephant (just guessing from the shear size of the adult elephants which would probably defend it's young)

  3. baby elephant with AK47

  4. the ones that are the slowest

  5. How about a Hippo? They are considered the most dangerous animal in Africa.

  6. Other lions.

  7. There are no water buffalo in Africa, where the majority of lions are found (the small population of Asiatic lions in the Gir Forest of India occasionally attack water buffalo, but generally stick to smaller prey such as sambar and chital). However, it is a fact that more lions are killed by African buffalo than by any other animal (except humans, sadly). They are powerful, aggressive animals and will defend other members of their herd, often coming to the rescue of an individual attacked by lions. Despite this, they are one of the lion's favourite prey.

Lions will take rhino and elephant calves (even adults if the pride is large and skilled enough - a few years ago in Botswana I saw a pride of 26 lions kill an adult elephant), but are rarely killed doing so. They are more wary around these animals, and tend to go for those which have been separated from their fellows in order to reduce the risk. If the hunt becomes too dangerous, they will simply give up and search for easier prey.

  8. Rhino's are extremely powerful. I recall seeing footage of a rhino flinging it's enemies into the air with it's horn while it was defending it's offspring.

  9. Water buffalo.  Lions often hunt them and battle fierceley with the protective adults.  Lions don't often hunt baby Rhinos or baby elephants.  If they did, the parents would likely fight them off, but probably wouldn't result in lion casualties as they are too slow.  The buffalo do however get the best of the lions occasionally, so it's definitely the buffalo.

  10. it could be any animal because  they will  hunt anything that moves and breathes

  11. water buffalo and wild boars.
