Which animal have you adopted or did you adpoted at one time?

By adpoted I mean give money to a charity such as WDCS.

I adopted a Dolphin from WDCS once named Sundance. I do not any more.

Adopted black rhinos and gorillas.  Supported snow leopards, tigers and wolves.

If you are looking to adopt you can always try your local zoo, most run adoption programs that will give you a photo and a few other items (stickers, plush, keychain, etc) when you adopt.

My family adopted a manatee one time from the 'Save the Manatee' club. To make things cooler, the club working to save one of my favorite animals was founded by one of my favorite singers, Jimmy Buffett!

I currently adopt the lion at my local zoo (where I used to be a keeper). I have adopted many animals over the years - for example, two wolves at Wolf Watch UK, a lion at the Born Free Foundation in South Africa, a wild tiger through Care For the Wild, and a wild gorilla through the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund.
