Which animals have demonstrated psychic characteristics?

Do you have any good stories or know of any research about animals and ESP?

I've always heard that cats can see things we can't, as far as spirits or what not, mine occasionally will freak me out by reacting to something that's not there at least as far as I can see.....

None so far. While animals such as cats and dogs may have physical senses far superior to those of humans, and thus can sense things that leave us wondering what they are on about, no animal has demonstrated psychic powers.

I had a top - cats were the winners, followed by dogs and different... hmmm... how do you call them... 'decorative birds'?

Cats not only see 'things', but they keep 'them' away also, not to mention their... therapeutic abilities; there is some sort of report on how their habit of 'massaging' certain parts of peoples' bodies revealed either a biological anomaly or... the cure. Awesome!

However, I was being told about strange stories in which horses were involved.

During times when they were actually put to work on a daily basis in many domestic jobs, their strange reactions often puzzled people. Of course, most of those occasions led to stories about 'the devil' and how the horses 'felt' him, so they don't make much sense.

Other than that, you already got the generals: cats are amazing just by being cats, dogs 'know' when their closest friends (people) die etc.

I, personally, like to think both at 'psychic' abilities and the special bonds created between animals and their men.

It is my understanding that many animals have psychic ability. Usually people attribute this ability to birds and cats only, but I know that other animals have heightened abilities. I have no basis in fact to authenticate my belief.

I had a cat that seemed unusual even for a cat....I have 3 other cats at the moment who are pretty normal...but the one cat (she has passed on) was just "different" to a point where we nick named her Xiaolin kitty, (for her mystical qualities, and abilities to do things like disappear and walk through walls) and referred to her as a Zen master.... the most unusual thing that ever happened while she was with me, was one night an unexplained phenomenon of some sort, for lack of a better explanation, I will say that a ghost visited me in the middle of the night, and woke me.  The cat normally slept with me every night, curled up in the curve of my arm, she didn't come in that night, and refused to enter the bedroom at all for at least a month after that night.  On her last night on the planet, she attracted a banshee to the house, all manner of caterwauling going on outside the window as she was dying, very creepy wailing, yet looking out the window, I couldn't see anything out there to account for all the wailing right outside the window.... Of all four of the kitties, they all have individual personalities, only the one acted in a way that seemed especially psychic....I do think they are intuitive, and pay attention to how they react to people visiting the house, but in my own experiences with them, I would say that one has abilities that one could consider psychic at about the same rate as people who are considered to have such abilities, I don't think it is a species wide thing...

i no cats are very physic...  they see all kinds of things we cant...  ive seen them stare at things an chase things when it looks like nothings there...  they can also read ur mind an always no wat ur thinking...  an i no dogs will howl for days or weeks jus b4 some1 near u dies....

i heard elephants are real psychic.  like in the wild when one elephant comes across the bones of a dead elephant h**l stroke the bones all over with his trunk to pick up all the psychic vibes given off from the dead elephant.  then he like picks up the bones with his trunk and carries them off to the elephants secret grave yard.
