  1. Drug that cross BBB and used to treat meningitis:

    1)  Cephalosporins:

    eg. Ceftriaxone, Cefotaxime, ceftazidime, cefepime

    2) Penicillins: Ampicillin

    3) Antifungals: Amp B with flucytosine, Fluconazole

    4) Vancomycin

    5) Anti-tuberculous drugs. (eg. INH)
