avast or AVG

however if your looking to spend some cash ill recommend

MacAfee

Norton Antivirus

also you may want some spyware prevention

Looking over the answers is very interesting.

Why anybody would install Norton is beyond me.

Why waste good money on anti virus and anti spyware software when the free versions work better.

AVG Free and AVAST are the ones I use. Both on XP and Vista. Mac is a different story.

I think AVG has a version for MAC and LINUX.
