Are Cable Seated Crunches better than Exercise Ball Crunches? Which one is more effective. How much sets and reps should I do.

  1. I think that the Exercise Ball Crunches are better for you, you can work more of your muscles with out hurting your back & neck.  I myself do 13 reps 3 times.  I do it 3-5 times a week on top of my normal exercising and I am seeing results already.  Good Luck!  


  2. Excercise Ball Crunches are better for the entire set of abdominal muscles, it works on all of the muscles not just some of the front ones excercised by seated crunches. Daily you should probably try to do about 30-40 of these depending on what your limits are, maybe even just 20. Listen to your body though, if it wants you to stop..then STOP!

  3. Exercise ball crunches are probably the safest crunch you can do.  It is just as effective as all the rest.  Crunches are definitely a high rep workout to tone the abs.  Aerobic exercise burns the fat to show the six pack.
