Which are better clubs calaway X18 or X20.?

Realy what is the big difference in the two. besides the price. lol

Honestly the X20s are a little more forgiving but that is about it.  Their best clubs are still the X14 steelheads.  I kept those as my back up clubs and they are a great fallback.

X20 are the latest version and offer higher MOI etc.

I agree with Nara.  I guess this is more of a commentary than an answer, now... LOL

It just amazes me that club manufacturers somehow manage the "biggest breakthrough" in clubs every single year they come out with a new model.  Most of the time you look at last years and this years model and say "what's the difference?"

It goes for every club in the bag.  If it isn't cc's that need to get stretched to the limit (460) to help improve your game, it's MOI (5900).  After all the clubs have gotten there, I guess Coefficient Of Restitution (COR- the springlike effect of a clubs face) is next.  When does it end?  And honestly, according to Frank Thomas (franklygolf.com) none of this is relevent for the weekend hacker.  It's just a way for club manufacturers to justify hocking $400 drivers and $1,000 iron sets on us every year.

Someday the average golfer's going to take a stand, and maybe when the USGA sees that more golfers are leaving the game instead of joining it, mostly due to costs, they'll seriously rethink how they go about their approach.

for the price, i'd go with the X-18's. u can find them used for ~$350. i actually play the x-18's. don't buy into the latest and greatest thing...i think you'll find it hard to find any noticeable difference between these clubs.

Definately go used. the 2004 BigBerthas are also a great deal for ~$300.
