  1. Go with the Campbell's dwarf.  Robos are much faster, and much less sociable.  The only thing I would recommend is that you get a tank large enough for them so they don't fight, they can seriously hurt or even kill each other.

  2. It really depends on what you are looking for in a pet. Robos are extremely fast and are really fun to watch, but they can be difficult to handle and are best if your experienced with hamsters. Though they are great in groups. It also may be hard to find four because they are born in litters of 3-6 on average so it maybe hard to find a litter with 4 females or 4 males. I have a few right now and they are great. You can feed them fruits and veggies and timothy hay. They should also have normal hamster food.

    Foods for Robos:

    Apple

    Avacodo

    Bananas

    Blackberry

    Blueberry

    Cantilope

    Cherries

    Cherry Tomatoes

    Figs

    Grapes

    Kiwi

    Melon

    Papaya

    Pear

    Peches

    Pineapple

    Plum

    Prunes

    Raspberry

    Raspberry leaves

    Strawberry

    Watermelon

    Asparagus

    Broccoli

    Cabbage(limited amounts)

    Carrots

    Cauliflower

    Celery

    Chickery

    Clover

    Corn

    Cuccumber

    Greenbeans

    Parsley

    Peas

    Peppers

    Spinach

    Squash

    Turnip

    Watercress

    Zuchinnie

    Acorns

    Bread

    Cheese

    Crackers

    Dandilions

    Dog biscutes

    Fish(steamed)

Ground beef (rinsed with water so all grease is gone)

    Hay

    Kale

    Marigold flower

    Oatmeal

    Pretzels

    Seed sticks

    Stale Bread

    Uncooked hot cereals

    Uncooked Noodles

    Uncooked Rice

    UNsweetened cereals

    Yogurt

Campbells tend to bite. They are fast, but slower and less active than Robos. They are more socail to humans and should be easier to find in a large group. They are larger and will make the cage smell worse. These hamsters should not have fruits because they are prone to Diebettes and sugary foods like fruits arn't good for them unless you know they are diebetes free then they shouldn't have fruit. But veggies and hay are fine(normal hamster food too.)

I love Robos and I would suggest them, but if they don't fit the way you want your pet to be than I think you should go with Campbells. If you want more info see the source websites.

  3. hello i would say that campbells russian hampsters are the best because they are easy to handle and love it when you hand feed them sunflower seeds. they can eat some veggies like celery, room temp carrots (make sure they are not too big), and some say that they can eat grapes. to me i just dont like robo hamsters because you ave to keep them with one to a cage and they are less friendly hope this helps you out a little good luck
