  1. depends on ehat position you play if you are a forward there are boots for forwards but if you are a back i would suggest the predeator 1`s. They may look cheaper but i find total 90s dont provide much support for your ankel and you tend to go over on it alot while playing, not ideal if your 1 on 1 5 meters from the touchline.

  2. blades=sprinter or backs

    8studs(large)=forwards

  3. Okay first of all you can get cheap version of the predator boots or the expensive ones. If you are not a kicker there is no real point in buying the expensive ones. I have a pair of the expensive predator boots and they are very comfortable but i also have the t90s and they are an excellent boot also. The boot really has no influence on your performance its how you play personally. The only advantage of the expensive predator is the leather is soft which allows kicking with ease. But they really do not reflect your performance. My friend wore the predators one year and made state. The next year he wore the t90s and still made the team. So if the boot fits well and feels comfortable you should get that pair. But remember its you, the player that has the influence on the match not the tools you use.

  4. Depends on your Position???

If your a forward you can actually get "Forwards Boots" they have extra Studs for scrummaging!!!

The amount you see footballers slip n fall over i wouldn't go near bladed boots ?!?!?

If their studded and comfortable ?!?!?! What more do you need ???

  5. Studs do have an important part to play depending on the position you play.

But the shape of the boot itself must also be taken into consideration.

Forwards tend to wear a  boot that covers the ankle bone, where as the backs tend to wear a boot that is below the ankle bone.

When buying boots for my son's when they started playing rugby, the advice given was:

Forwards wear a more "Boot" style with extra studs, whereas the backs wear a more "shoe" style with less studs!

    Hope this helps!

  6. As far as studs go, forwards have longer studs rather than more.

Bladed soles are not good for many players as they can exacerbate a knee injury by causing more of a twist. That's why footballers love them as they are good for pushing off.

Ultimately, it is the fit that counts. I prefer Mizuno boots, because they have a wider forefoot. Others like the Nike's because of the snug lacing.

  7. are you a back or a forward
