  1. something u may enjoy alot like chocolate, ice cream, fruit, nuts

  2. I read a report that said kiwi fruit is great for depression..but god knows how many you have to eat?

I always find when Im feeling down, chocolate does it for me :)

  3. "special" brownies

  4. eat things that are high in sugar, and take a multi vitamin

  5. hot milk

  6. banana as well will boost your spirits

spirits are always an option as well ;D

  7. It really depends on what neurotransmitters are causing the depression. Since there are so many Serotonin reuptake inhibitors on the market, most people look at foods that increase Serotonin levels.

Tryptophan is the precursor to Serotonin and it is found in protein-based foods or dietary proteins. It is particularly plentiful in chocolate, oats, bananas, mangoes, dried dates, milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, red meat, eggs, fish, poultry (including turkey), sesame, chickpeas, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, spirulina, and peanuts.

You can purchase Tryptophan or at least 5-HTP, which is similar at the health food store. Health food stores typically have other capsules which address mood disorder such as Kava, GABA, St John's, L-theanine and Sam-E.

  8. chocolate. And supplements from GNC like St. John's Wort, b-complex, Choline and Inositol, Niacin, and Amino acids like L-Tyrosine.

All help with brain activity stimulation and normal brain function to eliminiate depression

  9. I read a story about a man who ate bananas every day of his life for like a year, and claimed he was never depressed again. I don't know if it's total bull**** or not, but bananas are known to have serotonin in them. (Which, by the way, modulates anger, mood, etc.)

    Maybe you could try that.
