Which are good cruise lines for single travelers?

Question

Do any cruise lines pair you with a random individual so you are not charged double just because you are traveling alone?

I am referring to single as in traveling alone, not single without a romantic relationship.

You can travel most lines as a single passenger, but they will charge you anywhere from 50-100% more for the single room.  Some lines have a single partner program where they pair you with a person of the same s*x in the same age range.  This is the only way you will not end up paying the single supplement as it is called.

I know what you mean.  I too am a "would be" single traveling female.  I miss out on occasion because of that.  

There is a web sight that I enjoy using for cruises - they give a LOT of information about all cruises - you do have to register BUT you are not then hit with span as a result of registering - anyway.... that web sight is     www.vacationstogo.com

I've never done that but I have friends that have.  They enjoy it a lot.
