10 most IMPORTANT stereotypes? Since when are stereotypes important?  

Well I can GIVE you the 10 most relevant ones i suppose:

1. Because you're black you are automatically athletic.

2.  If you're mexican you suddenly have an outstanding work ethic and/or you like tacos.

3.  White people can't dance? Or jump, or they all like country and rock....nowadays this one has been made irrelevant many a time now.

4. Just because you've lost your virginity at a young age does NOT brand you as a s**t.  At the same time if you lose your virginity late like past 23+ does not mean you're some nerd who can't get any.

5.  Just because you're beautiful doesn't make you perfect, have a great personality, nor does it make you arrogant, stuck-up or a s**t.

6.  Listening to rap music does not make me a thug, nor does it mean i wear urban clothing and is a member of a gang; NOR do i do or sell drugs and beat on women.

7.  Listening to classical music doesn't make me g*y, boring, sophisticated or smart.

8.  Playing video games on the computer, or knowing thorough knowledge in computers does NOT make me a nerd that wears glasses and a major problem with acne, only people who play video games 17 hours a day and knows more about the game they play than the company who made the game.

9.  An american isn't just a person who indulges in celebrity gossip, drinks beer as their only source of sustenance, or wears a baseball cap and some casual clothes who think only about themselves and are loud and obnoxious.  Some countries have expressed this ignorant knowledge, and unfortunately there ARE people like that...but it's just not true.

10.  Not all black women have bad attitudes and are straight ghetto who enjoy having baby daddies, 4 kids from different daddies, and ment who go to jail.  Nor are they all culturally inclined to mother earth and africa and women pride to where they need no man and are independant and will make every effort to shove it in you or most certainly a man's face.  There are the exceptions that unfortunately help the stereotype, but for the most part...it's only in the movies.

May not necessarily be important to america...but those are the ones that come to mind....
