  1. It depends on your interest and what you consider a museum. The Vatican is a must see independent of your religion. The Roman Forum is in effect an outdoor museum. If you consider the forum a museum you may want to stop there. If your passion is art by all means head to the Villa Borghese. If you want to learn more about Rome and the Romans add the Capitoline Museums (there is more than 1) to the list. If you want to see a great exhibit check out the schedule on City of Rome website -http://www.romaturismo.it/ - and book a ticket in advance. If you're looking for something eclectic head to catacombs on the Via Appia Antica.

  2. Musei vaticani and Galleria borghese

  3. The two most important museums to visit in Rome are MUSEI VATICANI and MUSEI CAPITOLINI.

But my favourite museums are GALLERIA BORGHESE and GALLERIA DI PALAZZO ALTEMPS :)

  4. 1) the museum in the vatican (musei vaticani) has a lot of things... and a lot of visitors! dont forget to go early in the morning and don't get scared if the queue goes out in the streets for miles, people get in very quickly so you wont have to wait much

    2) if you want to see a particular kind of museum then go to the "museo borghese" inside the park of villa borghese. there are many beautiful statues by canova and all the way back to roman times, but also the arrangement of the museum is very interesting because its the same of the 18th century. and the park is beautiful too!

  5. The Vatican and St Peters.  Also the fountains, don't worry just role with it.
