There are so many places in Chinatown London we do not know which is the best one to go to.

As we are going out to watch a production in the west end and are planning to go out for a meal after it.

  1. In the absence of the fabulous Mr Kong in Lisle Street, which seems to have closed down, (if anyone knows what happened, please tell me!), I'd say try the Lido in Gerrard Street. It's more reliable than most in Chinatown. New World is cheaper and always busy, but usually good.

  2. I can't remember the name right off hand but I'll email a cousin and she can probably tell me.  I know you go up a very steep spiral stairway and you may have to sit with strangers.  That's good though because the waiters don't mind yelling at the customers if they do something wrong and it's better to have backup. The food is worth the humiliation.  ) :<
