i am just adding a bit more info

Karol Bagh - clothes, bags and other acceseries, the quality is pretty good and the price you have to bargain

Janpath - cheap casuals

Cannaught Place - lots of malls, janpath is also in CP.

Palika Bazar - Fraud market, just bargain start with 50% less

you can get goods ranging from clothes electronics, bags, and all other accesories, this is also in  CP (cannuaght place)

Lajpat Nagar - Central market , dedicated ladies market, i have a lot of shopping here so can tell from experience :) great brands to lots of shops and lots of bargain

Kamla Nagar - i would prefer not to go here for some other reasons.. this is close to a red light area..

Model Town - i never have been here

Delhi - Gurgaon border for factory outlets

This is the mahipalpur place which has lots of factory outlets.

NOIDA - Great india place, Centre Stage mall sector -18

Shipra mall - Indirapuram.

One thing which Jimmy missed out is the

Monastry - This is a very good market for clothes in fashion, they are cheap but very hip. This is close to the ISBT in Delhi

Sarojini Market - Also known as the SN market this is in between dhaula kuan and lajpat nagar.

For formals / exclusive wear try out the various malls in & around Delhi (NCR region).
