  1. looks like i came to the right question...I recomend you to go to Cartagena, Barranquilla or Santa Marta..that's the caribbean of Colombia.. the beach of Santa Marta is considered to be the second most beautiful beach in the world, not only that...There is too much to do in santa marta... none of those cities are cold...you can also try cali and medellin, those are party cities...I wont say Bogota because Bogota is usually cold, but it's a great place to go..

    Good luck

    Colombia is passion

  2. Every country in the southern hemisphere will be in summer during Christmas time so it really depends and where you would like to go, if to a beach, a city, etc. However, and here is the big however, Christmas time is high season all over the world so prices may not be that accomodating to you. I can recommned Peru to you (although it;s rainy season in Cuzco and you cant really enjoy Machu Picchu) but beaches in northern Peru are great (Mancora, Colan, etc). You can also visit Colombia or Venezuela, especially the Caribbean part of tose countries. Mexico is another great idea, although places like Cancun are so crowded and full of american tourists that it's not a great place to spend a holiday.

  3. Nowhere in South America will it be cold during the Christmas time. I would recommend Mar del Plata, a city on the Atlantic Coast in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The beaches are amazing, it's a big city which will offer lots of attractions, and you'll get to see amazing fireworks (in Argentina we shoot a lot of fireworks on Christmas and New Year's).
