  1. delhi, then PUNJAB seeHOLY PLACE GOLDEN TEMPLE IN AMRITSR SAHIB stay here depend on urself, bcoz this is very peachful  u shoud feel this is heaven on the earth.then u decide 4hill statins like shimla, kullu, manaali.

  2. i know u have asked about the places in northeast and people have given you all suggestions about the north india ...... in the north east particularly go to nainital. it is the best place .....

  3. you should go to the Taj Mahal

  4. beautiful mehgalaya,nagaland worth a visit

  5. browse to makemytrip.com, yatra.com, travelmasti.com, diamondresorts.com, travelinindia.com, or for more google.com

  6. I will suggest u gangtok,it is a beautiful hill station,Weather is mindblowing. u can visit hanuman garhi, buddist monestry, & then nathula pass where Indian border meets chinas though there r some particular days when u can go there as it is a one way & have a hilly terrain.culturally north_east is different from other Indian states, if I have to describe north-east in one word then I would say "virgin"it is unlike other places in India which r highly commerialised.nearby places near gangtok  r Darjeeling(enjoy the picturious views & toy train ride),siliguri(visit Nepal from there, good for shopping).U will simply love Sikkim. u need alleast One week to fully enjoy all places.Nearest railway station is siliguri.Gangtok is 2 hrs drive from there.drjeeling is 3 hr drive from siliguri.

Next i would recommend Arunachal . u can visit tenga, tawang.though places r worth seeing& out of the world but it lacks the basic infrastructure.u will not find shops Or anything to eat for hours together.remember to pack ample quantity of eatables, water etc.Journey is tiring as most of it is on road.if with kids think about some other place than this one.

Another in the list is Shillong, beautiful place.visit ancient churches, elephanta falls.bridges made up of roots, seven sisters fall . but don't forget to take ur Umbrella with u. anyways u get beautiful umbrellas there.I will recommend this place to u, as it is easily accessible, take a flight to Guwahati & then 2 Hrs of road drive, Helicopters r also available nowdays .don't forget to bring back home lots of pineapples.

Another in the list is Nagaland, iwould recommend Kohima(for it's beauty) & Dimapur ( for shopping). Dimapur is the nearest railway station.I hope it will help u. happy holidays.

  7. all over there is great and safe.they don,t even care a damm unless u follw their rules.

  8. Shillong - a lovely place with nice people.

Might not be the most modern in terms of facilities compared to other tourist spots, but the natural beauty is amazing. Just be careful not to travel in the monsoon months else it could be a watershed affair :)

  9. Most places in North East India have become safe to travel. And lots of tour operators there now, reputed ones who offer very good packages. Not much information though on the net as to budget and time required. Give you some links see if they are useful, this one in particular seems to be pretty well researched and informative.
