but have you considered something like Amazon vouchers ... I did this for my daughter and son-in-law's Christmas present ... you pay on the Amazon website and they give you a code which you can either print out and give (or post) to the person, or alternatively the code can be emailed to the recipient ... they then have credit which they can spend on the Amazon website ... my two spent their money on electronic equipment
