Hello everyone,

I and 5 friends are going for a short city break at the end of September. The 2 destinations are London and Paris. We are all students and we are only going to spend 2 days in each city, so we would like to visit the most important attractions! Can anyone advise us, please!

Thanks!

  3. Paris - Des jardins de Luxembourg, Le Louvre, Le tour Eiffel

London - Big Ben, ride a double decker, Westminster Abbey

  4. ok i visit my grandma in paris and we always go to the trocadero which has plenty of cafes, the eiffel tower no doubt about, and "les galleries lafayette" which is an awsome mall there, "les tuilleries" is a big garden with rides, and "le musee d'orsay, idk about london though,

  5. For Paris- the eiffel tower (deffinately got to the top of it), The Louvre (where the Mona Lisa is and where "The DaVinci Code" was filmed- an OUTSTANDING museum with priceless works of art), Versailles (Castle where King Louis VIII and Marie Antionette lived, also an AMAZING place). Its a shame you only have 2 days in each city. but you should be able to pack all these into 2 days. If you want pictures from Paris email me at alaskanredneck_snowboarder@hotmail.com. I never did go to London though.

  6. kings cross bombed tube station, and any drunk english dude

  7. Big Ben and the Eiffel tower.

  8. well i live in paris , you can take a boat tour in the Seine River first and then decide where to go

and you will definitely wanna go notre dame cathedral amd ofcourse the louvre and  musée d'orsay

  9. Obvious places like the Eiffel Tower, and the London Eye are usually packed to the rafters and can take hours to get on. I have done both the London and Paris hop-on hop-off bus tours and are well worth doing. You buy the bus pass for they day, and get on and off the bus when you want. I also recommend visiting Portobello or Camden Market in London.

  10. eiffel tower (paris) big ben or buckingham palace (london) hands down

  11. oh I LOVE london like I can't even explain! i have a lot of family over there so i visited a few years ago and it was the funnest thing i have ever done in my entire life.

you should realllyyy visit the tower of london there is sooo much history there. also the london eye was a great take although it was a bit scary being up so high. (: the westminster abbey you should definitely visit if you get the chance because loads of kings and queens were buried there and it's just SO interesting. ooooh and you CANNOT leave without visiting the war roooms. it was probably the most interesting thing we did there. it's where winston churchill made plans for the UK during WWII. it has the places where the people used to have to hide underground when there were bombings. it is a VERY interesting take and it's FREE! here's the link: http://cwr.iwm.org.uk/

i've never been to paris so sorry i can't help you with that! but really you should definitely consider the sites i told you they are the best of the best.

oh and ps. you should also visit the wax museum! it's amazing!
