Which are the months when I can see snow in Srinagar?

I know that it snows from Dec-Feb in Srinagar. However, my question is when does the snow melt? More specifically... till when can I expect to see snow? If I visit Srinagar in mid April, will I get to see snow - anywhere in or around Srinagar?

Possibly u can't see snow in Srinagar proper if u visit in mid april. It would have melted or thawed. Around Srinagar, towards Zojila pass (about 60 km), u should be able to see if BRO has not cleared to open Srinagar - Leh road. But in hill slopes, u can expect to see. U can also see snow in Tajiaba glacier near Sonmarg.

You stay in Sri Nagar at least for two Months time during Nov. &Dec.Or go to higher altitude to see snow in mid April.
