Which are the most unsafe areas in Toronto?

I've heard Jane and Finch is not safe, is there any other particular area? What about Agincourt? is it alright?

It depends on what time of day or night it is

Jane/Finch: A lot of violent crimes such as murder, rape, robbery, shootings, stabbings

Dowtown (Entertainment District): A lot of bar fights and stabbings occur around 1-3am, when the bars are closing

Scarborough: Lots of drug dealings, break ins, the odd murder, shooting.

yeah. i've heard stuff about jane and finch too..   agincourt is alright..   but around the heritage park school and that area, is really dangerous..  because of the gangs..  i've once heard a gun shot there..

I have heard that too, about Jane and Finch. I think most places in Scarborough are not very safe because it's a big city, and a lot of gang stuff goes town, apparently. I think you're best bet would be to live in a quiet little town, I'm very fond of Markham.

I'd stay away from:

Jane & Finch

Dundas & Parliament

Regent Park

Most of Scarborough (althogh there are some very nice areas)

Some areas of Etobikoke (never lived in the west end, but heard)

Also Weston and 401 .. again, in the west, but pops up in the news every once in a while.

Agincourt is fine, lots of Chinese.  It's basically suburban chinatown.  Locals call it Asiancourt.
