Which are the requirements for getting a job as a Spanish as a foreign language teacher in the UK?

To be a modern foreign language teacher here, you need to have a degree in the language (or I guess if spanish is your first language, a degree in English?) and be a qualified teacher.  but if you're not from the country, your qualifications may be a bit different, so you might have to approach a school which wants one, and ask if your qualifications are suitable.

  3. I guess that depends if you are from Chile or just working there. If you're from Chile, you're going to have to get the job first, so you can get your "Permission to Land" and get a work permit, which they usually pay for. And seeing as you have experience, that shouldn't be too hard. If you're from the UK it's easy as going back home! You might want to check out Translex Language schools, they are based in Ireland and the UK. They offer language classes, as well as translating services so the money can't be bad. Hope this helps!
