  1. Depends ppl say Redfern because of aboriginals , Lakemba because of the Lebs, Blacktown, Liverpool plus heaps of others but most of the time (NOT always) if you leave ppl be they will leave u alone.

I grew up in redfern and Never had a problem with any one there (and yes i am white...as a ghost actually) i remember when i was younger my friends and i would roam the streets all hours of the day and night and not get bothered.

Lakemba.....i lived there for a few years and again never had a problem altho some will say unless your Lebanese/Muslim  don't go near there but since moving there some of my best friends are Lebanese.

If you go looking for trouble it don't matter if you are in the nicest/richest part of Sydney your gonna find it eventually.

  2. Redfern would be pretty dangerous after dark especially if your a white person,It's an aboriginal area with alot off drunkerds and junkies and violence,Kings Cross is pretty rough too with alot off Junkies and then p**s heads walking about after the pubs lookin for fights or just being roudy and idiotic in general,Surry hills is suppose to be a bit rough,Parramatta has its fair share off losers and idiots as does Liverpool,Alot of areas have bad names but if you grow up in these hoods ya get to know who's who or if you are partying or drinkin up in the Cross or somewhere in the city and your with mates usually your safe,It's only if your a stranger ya would feel unconfortable or some-one may wanna start something with ya,E.g i can walk about my local neighbourhood and i see the little try hards around who think they're tough but they don't mess with me as they see me around all the time and know who i am,I can walk through Liverpool,Parramatta,Kings Cross, with no fear,Where as one off my friends or some-one i don't know would maybe feel unconfortable walking through those areas,

  3. I can think of one from the top of my head, Blacktown. There is graffiti practically everywhere and its quite dangerous to live there. I used to live there and there were people in my neighbourhood who would steal our mail. Im so glad we moved!
