1) and 4) cannot be both yes answers. I guess I took it for granted that most people are capable of grasping simple points

  1. 1) No citizen should be afforded "special" rights that are denied to others regardless of gender

    2) Currently, women and minorities are specifically granted rights (think hate-crime laws and family court) that others are denied

    3) There is no real equality - we may strive to grant equal treatment under the law, but everyone is different (equal but different cannot be)

    4) Over half of the people on earth are female, but 100% of the fathers on earth are male, and 100% of the mothers are female.  Some of the CEO's, a few world leaders, military commanders, and an occasional ditch digger are female.  There is no way that 50% of each category would or should be female, but any woman that wants the job and can do it should have the chance.

  2. Equal would be nice

  3. Equal opportunity only without prejudice.

  4. yes-men and women should be equal if they are on equal footing for the job(for example).  they should be paid equally for the same job and same tenure.

  5. You have too much time on your hands!

  6. Humans, regardless of division will never be equal, one or the other always has an advantage or disadvantage. But sure, they should be equal, doesn't mean they ever will be.

Though, there's not much stopping women from running for higher offices, since women can, as most will probably admit, vote without hinderance, and they outnumber men, in the US, anyway.

  7. Yes

    No

    Maybe

    Yes sssssssss zzzzzzzzzzzz

Oh sorry, dozed off in the middle of your lecture, errr, question.

    Yep, yep, yep.

Will there be a make up test?

If so, I want to say right now that my special subject is eyeliner.

    Cheers :-)

  8. 1. yes

    2. no

    3. NA

    4 NA

....what does this prove again?  (most feminist do not believe men and women have equal rights...so the quiz ends with #2)

Using your example...women make up 52% of the US population yet only hold....12% of public office.   Do I think we need exactly 52%...no...but how can anyone say that 12% is equal representation?
