8.fruits basket (well, you've probably watched this but it's so cute! i still wish they made a second season..at least they had a long manga running...romance/sci-fi...the anime not so much romance but manga a lot!)

7. D.N.Angel (This anime was one of my starters online!  It seems babyish at times, but good plot line)

6. death note (This was the first anime i watched that made me actualy think, it's dark and depressign at points, but the story line is amazing, the artwork is even better, and the logic behind everything is mind blowing!...sci-fi/psychological)

5. fulmetal alchemist (This is just like death note in the thought process scheme.  It really does make you think!  Every episode will make you want more and more unlike other anime where only select episodes are demmed worthy to rewatch... sci-fi/psychological/action)

4. blood+ (It has a bit of everything you desire in an anime!  Trust me yo uwon't be disappointed...as long as you don't frown upon blood...sci-fi/action/romance)

3. vampire knight (This is one anime you want to watch!  Like i think it's a definant top pic...lots of romance/amazing action/to some degree psychological)

2. code geass (I havent finished this anime yet, but i'm only at episode 17 and it's amazingly mind blowing.  Like i cannot wait to see next weeks episode.  i would watch the japanese ones online but i dont want to take away anything from the show seeign as i think i'd enjoy it more in my native language... psychological/action/romance?...havent gotte nthat far yet there might be)

1. bleach (last but most definantly not least there's bleach...i for one normaly do not like non romance anime, but this was soooo much different.  it changed my whole outlook on...well everything ever!  It has an amazing plot no matter what arc.  The setting and how the world is makes it like ours but different.  like theres more to be seen.  the creater did a flawless job on designing this alternate world, making it seem like a plausable place!  Every episode draws you in within the first 4 minutes.  WATCH IT!!!!...action/thriller/action/life/did i say action?...so yeah for a girl to enjoy an action anime it must be amazing!...then again that's how i am hehehe...

Alright, I seriously can't list my favorite from least favourite. There are animes I obsess over so much I can't decide which one is better, okay? So I'm just gonna list ten of my favorite animes. None of them being better or worse than the others.

1. The Slayers

-Anime, Manga. Can't get enough of it!!

2. Outlaw Star

-Sadly I cannot find the Outlaw Star manga. It hasn't been released in America yet, I've heard.

3. +Anima

-I highly doubt this is an anime yet.

4. Katekyo Hitman REBORN!

-I haven't watched alot of the anime.. But I've read every chapter up until now.

5. Black Cat

-Anime was GREAT, but after reading the manga I relize how much they twisted the story. The anime is more unrelistic.. So it annoys me.

6. Kaze no Stigma

-I've watched very few episodes and I still call myself a fan. I believe there is no manga to this series.

7. .hack//SIGN, Bracelet, Roots

-There is in fact a ..hack//Legend of the Twilight Braclet manga. It's freaking addicting, alot better than the anime. More storyline.. And Roots doesn't have a manga, but they made a .hack//G.U.+ manga.

8. Fullmetal Alchemist

-Omg manga. The anime just insults me.. WHY DIDN'T THEY HAVE LING IN THE ANIME DARNIT?!! T___T

9. Air Gear

-Ahh, yes, Air Gear.. I love the style of Oh!Great's mangas and anime. I can't decide if I like the anime or the manga more.

10. Soul Eater

-OH GAWD I ALMOST FORGET SOUL EATER!! ARRUUGGHH!! Best anime EVER!! Comedy, action, everything you could want. <3 If you compare Black Star with the anime 'Naruto' I'll punch you. D;

Well this is a rough estimate of what is my fav, mind you I am still watching anime so this could be changed again. This is only action based not including romance.

1.Bleach - My all-time fav. Before I loved FMA, but now I just feel that Bleach has the most versatile characters, and emotions, not to mention a graspable series. The ONLY series where the main characters thoughts define every action he does, with 100% effort, and without regret.

2.Elfen Lied - This was a cool ride! A psychological wonder. The only series where the prtagonist is also the antagonist all the way. It is intense that teaches us the true definition of discrimination. Kouta is a good but not a pure human. It feels like the series was an adventure for Lucy to find her ultimate happiness, and she was willing to die for it.

3.Eureka Seven - Now some parts of me like this more than Elfen, mainly because this is my fav romance. Renton is a powerful individual, who's integrity is never broken, though he is childish when it comes to proving himself. At first I didn't want him and Eureka to be with each other. But after he got depressed, Eureka was not really kinder but open. The other sub plots are confusing, yes, but it adds depth to what needs to be done, and Gekkostate is a charity hero package.

4.Yu Yu Hakusho - When I first heard about this I learned that this story is similar to Bleach in ways more obvious than some. So similar, that when Kubo first published it, it didn't sell due to the likeliness. A very good series, Dark Tournament saga is my fav, and Kuwabara is fav. The 4 main characters are equally unique, because they truely definr the provrb: United we stand, devided we fall. They are all true friends, and the ending is awesome.

5.Koi Kaze - Not really an action, but in many ways beats them all. The only series where I cried in the 1st ep, and 4 other times! A romance series that is about a romance that can NEVER exist! A must watch, what is so great about these charcters is that they are very real, so real that you would think a live soap opera could be made. The dub is better since you can connect closer. I should warn you, this is not intended for children, not because of nudity, or gore, but the theme it represents.

6.Martian Successor Nedesico - This series is (so far) fav mecha. I like the down to earth qualities of Akito being a chef. Great ending, funny comedy, s**y romance, a series where it contains a little bit of everything.

7.Buso Renkin - I will be VERY honest, I loved Rurouni Kenshin, in fact before watching this Kenshin was in this rank. What changed is that Buso Renkin has the same characters as foils for each other. Tokiko is a bloodthirsty warrior who resembles Lucy in very big ways. But she isn't the protagonist, Kazuki is a happy normal person who as average in everyway, who has a fearless heart. What is spectacular is how Tokiko both envies, and respects the free spirited Kazuki, and is awed on how his morale, is his drive to become one of the best. In my opinion Kazuki at the very end becomes one of the most powerful anime charaters of all time!

8.Shaman King - I only saw the dub version, and I love Shonen Jump, so I looked this up. When this first came up I was in 7th grade when I didn't really care about anime at the time.  But the characters where addicting. So later when I was a seasoned otaku, I looked back to this and all I could get was the dub. But to be honest, the dub got more tolorable after the Togegaroh intro. I thought that Yoh's strength derived from his ability to calm and tame the wicked and stressed. All of the other shamans, felt an obligation to follow him after being saved. A classic example of a leader.

9.Mobile Suit Gundam series

1st - The first and foremost, the one that started it all. Amuro Ray is a great mecha hero, who doesn't have much of a background, but he has a feeling for the Gundam itself, instantly taking the situation as his calling. Ray's voice actor Brad Swaille captures his weakness, and confidence slowly changing him from a weakness to one of the greatest anime characters I know.

SEED - I only saw the first 10 so not much say...

SEED Destiny - I liked this story's protaonist better, but I stopped watching after 15.

10.One Piece(FUN dub) - I wanted to watch this series constantly but I couldn't find a dub. The whole cast is delightful, with a promising, so it's only con is being too long.
