Would those with expierience say that places like Tignes and Valdisere get better snow every year and for longer periods than for example places in the Portes Des Soleil like Morzines and Avoiraz. I know Tignes is extremely expensive, so can any one recommend a place in France that gets really good snow every year? Or would you just go to Canada or America?

  1. Tignes is very expensive but it is worth it. I love skiing there!

I went to France last year and me and my brother went there and it was awesome.

I would still just go to some place out west like Vail because that is closer than France. (at least to me)

  2. Check here http://www.igluski.com/snowreports.cfm you can also view previous years snow falls.

There is normally plenty of snow in the Alps ... this year is really good.

I came back from Canada 2 weeks ago (Banff) and the skiing was amazing the snow was soooo nice & fine.

Long flight to Canada - Short flight to Alps

Check here for some good bargains
