  1. just make sure its central.. I spent 3 nights in Rome 2 in a nice hotel but it took ages to get there by bus.  I then spent another night in a more central location, which was 10mins from the train station and other major locations.

  2. If you want stay in the center of Rome,  in a very good accomodation, not very expensive, you mast go in the site

  3. Don't hesitate: Campo dei Fiori! Central, historic, lively, yummy and so so beautiful!

  4. Between the two, Spanish Steps. It's closer to downtown Rome. In my family's case, we stayed a few blocks away from the Vatican, because we wanted to go to St. Peter's and the Vatican Museum. In the end, stay closest to the places you'll visit most often.

  5. We stayed in the Marriott Grand Hotel Flora on Via Vittoria Veneto. It was located near the Borghese Museum and Gallery. Near restaurants and close to all.

Rome is a walking city and it was fun getting lost and finding our way back again.

    Have a wonderful trip
