  1. Most areas of the world, as it happens.  It'd be far easier to look for which areas do yield diamonds.  Parts of South Africa, the Congo and Siberia come to mind, but there are other sources.  And it should be remembered that's only parts of those places.

  2. Diamonds are formed at very high pressures, at a depths greater then 100 miles deep in the Earth's Mantle. As a result, Diamonds are only found in regions of the Earths where Continent are more then 100 miles thick (unusually thick).

So to answer your question, Diamonds are NOT found where the Continents are normal thickness, less then 100 miles thick. This accounts for ~90% of the worlds Continents.

Areas where Continents are more then 100 miles thick include - Western India, Siberia Russia, South & Central Africa, Northern Canada and Western Australia - and in these areas Diamonds are found in Kimberlite (a strange rock that erupts from great depth within the Mantle).

Everywhere else does not have Diamonds (except if transported by rivers).

  3. Most of the diamonds come from Africa but northern Canada is also contains lots of diamonds. So its hard to say because Russia could be next.

  4. africa... just kidding! err i don't know... South America might have a low keep of them but I am pretty sure every continent has them... and I am sure countries trade for them...
