  1. I've read that the subject that affects your future professional success the most is mathematics, and I believe it.  Almost every profession requires mathematics to advance to the highest levels.  Beyond that, I think its the general skills required to do well in school that help--critical thinking, time management, getting along with people, etc.

  2. Avoiding class, and hanging out in the Bathroom.

    Sorry couldn't resist.

I would say that a great asset from my education is computer skills and typing. 90 wpm will get you work.

  3. All the oddball stuff that you didn't think was important! History : How do you know when a war is coming and you should leave the country? Medicine: What is real, and what is quackery? Economics: Do I need to pay interest?

  4. Unfortunately,a layman defines education in a very narrow concept.School or college education is regarded as real education.B.Shaw used to call it pseudo-education.In fact when ulterior purpose comes, school or college education slinks through the back door.Raja Sharma http://www.rajasir.blogspot.com

  5. unfortunitly math!

  6. Character building education which implicitly taught in literature, sports, religious studies and civic education. As an adult we can learn almost anything but moral values and idealism which is the most important thing to stay sane doesnt have certain studies in school time table recently. Even at home parents are too busy to teach their children about it. Many people are smart but it takes more to be wise.

  7. i'm only in year ten myself but i'm definitely sure that maths and english are so vital! but i guess all aspects of your education are important (otherwise we wouldn't need to go to school!). PE is useful in that it teaches us the importance or health and exercise. Other subjects such as a second language will probably come in handy one day too-the world is getting smaller!

  8. Early education- learning to read, to write, and study/think through things

    Later- Student teaching
