  1. My opinion:

    MP3 - more widely used nowadays, especially for songs, and I *think* better quality

    WMA - Smaller file sizes

    Based on personal experience.


  2. I personally like MP3. It's a matter of personal opinion.

  3. Technically MP3 is better quality, but that depends on how the file was originally encoded.  Same with WMA.

    If it wasn't encoded at a high enough bitrate, either can be cruddy.
