  1. I have a 17,11 and a 18 month old daughters and I swear by playtex bottle bag bottles. I only use them, My sisters used them as well. They seem like more of a hassle; but for a few minutes to get the bottles ready is worth it compared to agony ...its worth it. I set everything up before bed time or during the day when I get free time and its not so bad. But my last two never spit up!!!

  2. playtex drop-ins are great!!! and the liners are not too much more expensive then regular ones!

  3. use the dr. brown's bottles.

my son was only 2 months and my husband and i've been thru 5 different brands of bottles. finally, we were given dr.browns by a relative, and it worked GREAT!

  4. We used Avent.  My daughter never had any gas problems.  I know women that used tons of Mylicon.  We had a bottle that I don't think we ever used up, and my daughter is 14 months now.

  5. Almost everyone reccmended the play tex drop ins for you and let me tell you i've never even used those once! I used the Vent Aire bottles and have never had a gas issue.  They are somewhat annoying which is why i just use the plain gerber bottles now, because they come apart into 6 pieces, but that is why they are good for flow and gas problems.  The bottom of the bottle has a little rubbery/silicone piece that somehow makes all those bubbles disappear.  Just be careful putting them together bc if you dont do it right you will leak milk out of the bottom! Vent Aire is what they reccomended to me at the hospital bc the flow immitates that of a real breast also. Good luck with your bottling dilemma!

  6. Avent.I've used these with both my kids (:

  7. I use soothie and they work fine.

  8. I am the mother of 2 children & I have to tell you every child is different.I go between Playtex drop-ins during the day & old fashioned Gerber at night. I think it's more about how well your baby latches onto different nipples. If you get a nipple he has a hard time getting a good suction on he will  ingest air.

  9. I love the Playtex-Drop-Ins. We switched to those from Dr. Browns and I have had no problems since then. She had a really hard time with the Dr. Browns, they are supposed to prevent gas but seemed to make more for her. The nipples on the Playtex are more like the breast so she latched on much better. I use the standard liners for them though as they seem to keep more of the air out then the drop-ins and they don't leak. A few cons- You have to mix the formula or warm up the milk in a different container, the air does not stay out of the liner after you squeeze it all out so I learned to set the bottle on it's side when I am burping so the air does not seep back in the bottle. Also when pouring the liquid into the bottle only pour half and then tap the bottle on the counter to push the liquid down and then add the rest. I love these bottles and would recommend them to anyone!! Hope this long answer helps!!
