my little man's gonna be one year this coming monday.

he LOVES his baby einstein dvds.

we have Mozart, Beethoven, First Moves, Discovering Shapes, Mcdonald, Wordsworth, and On The Go.

He loves them all. He's a fan of the puppets, songs, and music.

suggestions of the next one (two,three...) to get for him? AND WHY

we also have the dvd with the Bee on the cover... i'm not fond of it. watched it once and i don't like how they try to bring in like 4 languages at once. don't need to teach my son "apple" in spanish and "ball" in french. i'm all for diversity, but trying to teach other languages when the learner doesn't know he's learning different languages is just a bunch of asparagus.

  1. One that my son has that he really likes is My First Signs...it teaches 20 basic but useful words in sign language.  He hasn't really caught on to any of the signs yet but he still really enjoys watching it.  Baby Neptune is also cute...it's underwater/sea creatures and such.  Ummm, what else?  Oh, World Animals is cute too.  There's safari and jungle animals...pardon the pun but my son always goes bananas when the little monkeys are on!

  2. make him watch real movies every once in a while, what about monsters inc, or Aladdin, my son watches Toy story and sings to the opening song, its too cute

  3. I have a lot of those too!

Try the Numbers Nursery, World Animals, and Baby Shakespear.  I have all three of those as well as many of the ones you have and they like it.

My girls never got into On the Go, though.  :-)

Oh, and the discovering sign language one is also good!
